ServiceSource seeks a Custodial Supervisor to support the National Institute of Standards and Technology facilities in Boulder, CO. You will lead a small team, perform floor care, and ensure clean, safe conditions for employees and visitors.

Experience with rehabilitation and working with individuals with disabilities is required. This role falls under Ability One Source America regulations and emphasizes accommodating personnel with disabilities in competitive employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a good DMV record.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• 2-5 years’ experience working with individuals with documented disabilities preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate:$24.47

Custodial Services at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, CO. This facility includes 18 Federal Research and Administration buildings on an Open Campus against the Flatiron mountains.

The Assistant Supervisor reports to the Project Manager acting as a Floor Manager while on the production floor. Experience with rehabilitation and working with individuals with disabilities is required. This position falls under Ability One Source America regulations and dictates that we support, accommodate, and assist individuals with documented physical and/or mental disabilities in maintaining competitive employment.

Primary Duties

• Cleaning, stocking, and floor care of the facilities.
• Trash collection from all waste and recycling receptacles in the aforementioned spaces
• Machine cleaning of floors up to and including but not limited to stripping and waxing.
• Adhere to facility safety guidelines related to procedure, PPE, and other company policies.
• Adhere to facility rules on both the campus and in the facilities themselves.

Additional Responsibilities – Supervisory Responsibilities

• Act as Floor Manager to ensure employees are on task.
• Reporting directly to Contract Supervisor. Fulfil duties of Contract Supervisor in their absence.
• Direct supervision of 10-15 Employees with direct support for individuals with documented disabilities.
• Mediation between employees, disciplinary action.
• Coverage of necessary facility tasks (roll up the sleeves when needed)
• Supervise weekend overtime work projects.
• Inventory: weekly inventory counts and maintaining order and cleanliness of backstock closets.
• Monthly and weekly quality inspections and reporting.
• Customer Service/relations regarding barrel rental, additional services for conferences, and General Assistance.
• Stock management: replenishment of employee stock closet and delivering controlled supplies to employees on the floor.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

• Must have strong level of patience in working with our population. The ability to reason and communicate is a strict requirement.
