Job summary

Chapman Construction/Design is seeking candidates for a training role designed to grow into site supervision. Based in Massachusetts, you will work under a Construction Supervisor, perform hands-on tasks, learn scheduling, safety, and coordination on active projects across Eastern MA and Southern NH.

Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent, strong interest in construction, and a valid driver's license. The role offers 100% health insurance and career mentorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years construction-related experience preferred; however, if you bring motivation, leadership potential, or related experience, we’d still like to hear from you.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic understanding of construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to complete Adult CPR/First Aid and OSHA 30 training within one year.

Responsibilities

• Support daily jobsite operations, including safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality.
• Collaborate with the project team to maintain an accurate schedule and ensure timely execution.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and assist in layout or installation as directed by supervisors.
• Perform hands-on tasks such as installing partitions, doors, frames, and interior finishes.
• Travel to project sites (up to ~60 miles each way).
