National Community Renaissance is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support the Superintendent and Construction VP in defining scopes, tracking budgets, and ensuring the project timeline. The role requires coordinating with inspectors, managing field teams, and maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Five years of overall construction experience.
• 3–5 years in affordable multi-family residential construction preferred.
• Familiarity coordinating with city inspectors and other authorities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in daily site operations including scheduling, inspections, quality control, safety and budget monitoring.
• Work with Project Management to coordinate utilities, permits, plan checks, and Certificates of Occupancy.
• Direct subcontractors and manage field staff.
• Collaborate with City Inspectors and utility inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Provide periodic written reporting and scheduling updates on progress.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements site-wide and SWPPP requirements.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work site and relate well with others.
• Attend company events related to team development as needed.
