Job summary

DMK Development Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee a construction project from start to closeout. You will manage daily site operations, help build and maintain schedules, and keep thorough progress records with the Project Manager and team.

The role requires leadership, clear communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience leading construction projects, especially healthcare or multifamily, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading construction projects, healthcare and multifamily experience preferred.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of construction safety and strong safety values.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Comfort and familiarity with iPad usage with Procore preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and information-evaluation abilities.
• Physically able to lift 90 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project from start to closeout.
• Manage day-to-day operations at the site.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules.
• Maintain progress records via daily field status reports.
• Foster relationships with team, subcontractors, owners, and officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and support team to complete tasks.
• Perform quality control reviews of materials and work.
• Inspect completed work and plan inspections with authorities.
• Coordinate materials and equipment deliveries with vendors.
