We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects here in the Greater Indianapolis/ Central Indiana area that include commercial, industrial, K-12, and recreational. Projects can range up to 10mil+ depending on the overall need. You will be assisting the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general assistant duties that come up on an active construction site.

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects here in the Greater Indianapolis/ Central Indiana area that include commercial, industrial, K-12, and recreational. Projects can range up to 10mil+ depending on the overall need. You will be assisting the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general assistant duties that come up on an active construction site.

The successful candidate will be very tech savvy and ready to move from project to project as needed, contribute to larger projects, and gain valuable experience in the field as they continue to grow. This position is 100% in the field and is ideal for candidates with aspirations of becoming Project Managers, Superintendents, or Estimators.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the on-site Superintendent with daily paperwork and documentation.
• Utilize technology to streamline project management and communication.
• Perform general assistant duties, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
• Support the team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
• Travel between project sites as needed, adapting to different project requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to advance within the company.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  
  

Job Requirements

• College degree related to Construction Management or Construction Engineering
• May consider non-degreed candidates with relevant experience and technological proficiency
• 1 year of experience reading blueprints for site plans
• 1 year of experience working on construction sites
• Proficient in Procore and Building Schedule Software

• Use of MS Project and Bluebeam

Travel/ Phone

• $700 per month TRUCK allowance or $350 if the truck is older than 6 years
• $40 per month phone allowance
  
  

Environment

The work environment involves being on site from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm. Some weekends may be required depending on project needs. This role offers a monthly truck allowance and phone allowance, providing support for transportation and communication. Compensation will depend on specific relevant experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
