A well-established, 3rd-generation construction company with over 50 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking an Construction Project Manager to join their team due to the winning of several major projects and increased demand for their services.

Salary up to 120K DOE.

This role involves overseeing all construction activities for medium-sized public infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards in and around South New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage the project buyout process, including reviewing subcontractor and supplier scopes to ensure compliance, quality, and cost savings.
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, coordination drawings, and project schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards.
• Supervise the construction team to achieve timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor critical project paths and optimize efficiency through innovative procurement and delivery methods.
• Provide detailed monthly status reports to management, highlighting progress and any project challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and engineers to ensure satisfaction and project success.

Skills Required:

• Strong project management abilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Exceptional time management and leadership skills, leveraging teamwork to drive results.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Solid decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Technical expertise in construction-related issues.
• Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Excel, Word, Sage, Outlook, AutoCAD, and Sage Timberline.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, opportunity assessment, and basic accounting knowledge.
