Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. represents a top construction management client seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer in the King of Prussia area. You will assist with negotiations, change orders, RFIs, and submittals while supporting drawings, specs, and QA/QC processes.

You’ll manage subcontractors, ensure safety and on-time, on-budget delivery, and help build client relationships to aid business development. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 3–5 years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years of construction management experience in multifamily, tenant fit-out or hospitality renovations ($1M–$10M).
• Strong budgeting and job costing knowledge.
• General contracting and/or subcontracting experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven supervisory/management skills.

My client is a top notch Construction Management firm who is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manger or Project Engineer.

As an Assistant Project Manager, your primary responsibilities include:

• Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs.
• Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents.
• Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking.
• Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members.
• Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards
• Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts.
• Coordinate the purchasing of essential safety supplies, products, or training items.

What You Bring to Us

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred; or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management of multifamily, tenant fit out or hospitality renovation projects in the $1 million - $10 million dollar range
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of project budgeting and job costing
• General contracting and/or construction subcontracting experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proven supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team
