Job summary

Lunova Group in Hartford, CT is seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate elevator modernization projects from start to finish. You will manage multiple projects, align stakeholders, and ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to high quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of project coordination experience, PMP certification or progress toward it, and familiarity with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience coordinating and supporting business or construction projects.
• PMP certification required or in progress to be completed within the first year.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer-facing skills.
• Salesforce experience and the ability to read blueprints or architectural drawings are a plus.
• Elevator modernization or related industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Project Lifecycle: Oversee all phases of modernization projects from bid review to final closeout.
• Support Sales Success: Collaborate with sales during bidding and handoff to confirm scopes, timelines, budgets, and requirements.
• Drive Customer Satisfaction: Be the primary contact for customer requests, providing proactive communication throughout each project.
• Keep Projects on Track: Manage schedules, order materials, and coordinate internal and field teams to meet milestones.
• Prioritize Safety and Quality: Conduct jobsite audits and enforce safety culture and high standards.
• Control Costs and Close with Confidence: Monitor budgets and ensure proper financial closeout.

We’re looking for an Construction Project Manager to join our client’s growing team in East Berlin, CT. In this role, you’ll coordinate elevator modernization projects from start to finish — ensuring they’re completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll manage multiple elevator modernization projects, keeping stakeholders aligned, tracking progress, and ensuring successful outcomes from initial planning through final closeout.

• Own the Project Lifecycle: Oversee every phase of modernization projects—from reviewing sales bids and project requirements to final closeout—while ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal standards.
• Support Sales Success: Collaborate with the sales team during the bidding and handoff processes to confirm accurate scopes, timelines, budgets, and project requirements.
• Drive Customer Satisfaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer requests, questions, and updates, providing clear and proactive communication throughout each modernization project.
• Keep Projects on Track: Order and monitor modernization materials and factory parts, manage project schedules, and coordinate internal and field teams to meet key milestones.
• Prioritize Safety and Quality: Conduct jobsite audits and quality-control checks while reinforcing a strong safety culture and high performance standards.
• Control Costs and Close with Confidence: Monitor budgets, maintain accurate cost tracking, and ensure every modernization project is financially and operationally closed out correctly.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 2+ years of experience coordinating and supporting business or construction projects
• PMP certification required or in progress, to be completed within the first year
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Location:
