Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support the Construction Project Manager and EPC Project Manager across diverse projects including aviation, commercial, power, and water. You will assist in safety, quality, schedule, cost control, procurement, documentation, and client interface, with a focus on field-based activities and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field with 3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Help manage safety, quality, schedule and cost control on EPC projects.
• Assist in development of Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance, and Procurement Plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client interfaces for project items.
• Prepare RFPs, scope of work, bid documentation and contract documents.
• Support project risk reviews, cost reporting and project documentation.
