Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support project teams. You will assist the Construction Project Manager, Site Manager, and EPC leaders with day-to-day management across a variety of industries including aviation, commercial buildings, power, and water.

You will help manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and documentation while coordinating plans and procurement efforts with field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and contracts on EPC projects.
• Coordinate development of project plans, QA/QC, safety, and procurement plans.
• Support cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structures, and field progress tracking.
• Prepare information for project status, risks, and stakeholder meetings; assist with turnover and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs.
