S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for our Waverly at Oyster Point community in Newport News, VA.

The role oversees on-site staff in the Community Manager’s absence and handles essential administrative duties to ensure smooth property operations. You will participate in leasing activities, respond to resident inquiries, and support payroll and maintenance coordination. A strong customer-service background and Fair Housing knowledge are preferred, with a valid

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Leasing tasks: showing the property, preparing lease packets, run credit reports, inspections after move-outs and before move-ins.
• Active participation in leasing while striving for quality residency.
• Responds to telephone requests from residents and the public.
• Handles payroll administrative aligning with Payroll Department.
• Tracks traffic through the property.
• Coordinates maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Aggressively work on resident retention through positive resident relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
