S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for the Newport News, VA area.

The full‑time role oversees on‑site staff when the Community Manager is away and requires ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws while supporting leasing, accounting, and resident relations at the Waverly at Oyster Point community in Newport News. Salary range is $16.00–$18.00 per year, with benefits including PTO, holidays, insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.

Responsabilités

• Leasing the property, showing units to prospective residents, preparing lease packets and running credit reports.
• Handle accounting and posting duties for deposits and rent payments.
• Respond to telephone requests from residents and the public.
• Coordinate payroll administration with Payroll Department.
• Track traffic through the property and coordinate maintenance requests.
