Job summary

KETTLER is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Fairmont at South Lake in Bowie, MD. Under the Community Manager, you’ll deliver excellent resident service and coordinate all apartment community operations.

You’ll assist with leasing, finances toward NOI, and maintenance coordination, while collaborating with marketing to maximize occupancy and foster a strong, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven track record in leasing.
• Knowledge of Landlord-Tenant laws and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Managing administration of property operations and leasing office for a 400 or less unit property.
• Supporting Community Manager with monitoring the financial operations and achieving budgeted NOI.
• Coordinating the maintenance of property grounds and service requests.
• Providing a quality living environment for residents and positive work environment for team members.
• Working with the marketing team to achieve maximum occupancy at property.
• Handling delinquency collection practices and renewals.
• Process move-in/move-out protocols and maintain resident ledgers.
• Assist with leasing overflow and following up on traffic.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects.
• Help manage rental collections and daily deposits.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction and property goals.
