Arlington Properties in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a motivated Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, operations, and team leadership at our apartment community.

You’ll assist the Community Manager, handle leasing tasks, process payments, ensure resident satisfaction, uphold Fair Housing regulations, and help grow the property’s performance with a proactive, service‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or property management (1+ years strongly preferred).
• Strong communicator with organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using property management systems.
• Reliability, flexibility, and eagerness to make an impact.
• Licensed to drive, insured, and willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision.
• Take full responsibility for the community in the manager’s absence.
• Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation; assist with resident retention efforts and event planning.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations.
• Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards.
