Job summary

TREK Development Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an engaged Assistant Community Manager for Dinwiddie, a 95-unit property. Under the Community Manager, you will support staff and residents, drive leasing performance, and promote TREK’s Hospitality Covenant in daily operations.

You will handle budget prep, rent collections, certifications, and compliance with Fair Housing, while coordinating with property and resident services teams to maintain high resident satisfaction and community value.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in Property Management, Hospitality, or Retail.
• 2+ years in property management or related field.
• COS, LIHTC, ARM certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain site certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and RealPage skills.
• Analytical with numbers and AR/AP aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead with TREK Hospitality Covenant by modeling, inspiring, and guiding staff and residents.
• Assist day-to-day property operations with effective communication.
• Assist in budget prep and Monthly Operating Report to meet goals.
• Monitor leasing, retention, and certifications; manage rent processing and reports.
• Adhere to Tenant Selection Plan and Fair Housing regulations.
• Anticipate vacancies and maintain occupancy targets with market awareness.
• Enter and track invoices; post rents and maintain resident ledgers.
• Coordinate with Property Manager and Resident Services staff.
• Oversee office operations and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Develop understanding of all property management aspects and performance metrics.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate team members; participate in annual reviews.
