Post Road Management in Wichita, KS is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in day-to-day operations and resident services.

You will assist in rent collection, coordinate leasing, handle resident inquiries, and collaborate with maintenance to keep the community running smoothly. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with growth opportunities in a growing property management company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property management, leasing, or assistant community manager.
• Strong understanding of resident relations, rent collection, and leasing coordination.
• Experience using AppFolio or similar property management software.
• Ability to support team leadership and community operations.
• High school diploma required; college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rent collection and delinquency management to achieve financial goals.
• Coordinate leasing activities, including scheduling showings and processing applications.
• Address resident inquiries and concerns with a friendly, solution-focused approach.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve property issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate resident records and community documentation.
• Create and post engaging rental ads; support marketing and events.
• Serve as liaison between residents, vendors, and the management team; mentor leasing staff.
