Job summary

The Enclave on Main in Whitehall, OH, seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations, leasing, compliance and resident relations at an affordable housing community. You will work with the Community Manager and management team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a well-managed property.

Required background includes experience in affordable housing programs and strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working in affordable housing programs including LIHTC, USDA Rural Development, Section 8, HOME a plus.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate staff to meet operational goals.
• Interact with residents and the public to enhance the community image and retention.
• Lease apartments, process applications, verify income and credit, and renew leases.
• Manage rent collection, deposits and record-keeping.
• Maintain the community in an attractive condition and manage budget.
• Support hiring, development, and discipline of site personnel.
• Oversee property inspections and coordinate capital improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely financial reporting.
