Job summary

The Related Group in Sorrento, Florida, is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to supervise, administer, and support operations in the Property Manager's absence. The role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach and a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Key duties include advising residents on lease terms, processing applications, leasing vacant units, maintaining rent rolls, preparing HUD reports, coordinating work orders, and ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated financial administration of budgets and operational review and analysis.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with lease requirements and responsibilities.
• Conduct background checks and recommend acceptance or rejection of applicants.
• Interview prospects, show units, explain dwelling equipment operation.
• Lease vacant units to approved applicants.
• Maintain lease and accounting records, accounts receivable/delinquency, and eviction notifications.
• Collect rents, post to accounts, prepare deposits, and review financial reports.
• Prepare and monitor vacancy and delinquency reports.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow-ups, monitor work orders.
