Description
As an Assistant Community Manager, you will provide support to management in the overall operations of Community Association business and deliver exceptional customer service to owners, residents, clients, and vendors. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and vendors at all times
- Responding to inquiries and providing resolution to questions or concerns in a timely fashion
- Assisting with the daily general financial management and recordkeeping
- Assisting with the bid process
- Conducting regular site inspections as needed
- Maintaining all records in Connect, including work orders, resident information, Association documents, and community information
- Ensuring maintenance of all files, records, and correspondence in accordance with company procedures and good business practices
- Attending all Board meetings as necessary
- Assisting with the preparation of Board meeting agendas, monthly management reports, and other reports for the Board Packet
- Establishing an annual calendar indicating all association activities, deadlines, elections, meetings, projects, etc.
- Assisting walk-in homeowners and referring to the Community Manager when necessary
- Handling mailings as needed and required
- Recordkeeping, including maintaining binders with Monthly Agendas, Modification Requests, Work Orders, Financials
- Meeting weekly with the Community Manager to ensure completion of open action items
- Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality
Skills & Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Project management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and coordinate others’ work
- Ability to keep complex records and prepare reports in a timely manner
- Ability to organize multiple programs and assignments effectively
- Ability to work on more than one assignment at a time with interruptions and delays, remaining focused and efficient
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment and remain alert to safety and health concerns
Physical Requirements / Working Environment
- Sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, lifting objects up to 25 lbs, climbing stairs
- Extended sitting and standing
- Effective communication via phone and in person
- Dexterity for typing and keyboard use
- Mobility around the office and property
- Extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Indoor and outdoor work environments
- Ability to interact with diverse individuals and work under safety standards

Compensation
$25.00 per hour
