Job summary

GL Partners Management (GLPM) seeks an Assistant Community Manager for a multifamily community in the Cortez Hill neighborhood of San Diego. You will partner with the Community Manager to support financial operations, resident relations, and leasing performance.

This role emphasizes hospitality-minded service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Onsite leadership and a people-first culture are core to GLPM.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of multifamily property management experience.
  • Experience with rent collections and leasing operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Entrata or comparable property management software.

Responsibilities

  • Support the financial performance of the community through rent collections, delinquency management, reporting, and operational organization.
  • Assist with leasing, renewals, resident communication, and resident retention initiatives.
  • Help oversee onsite operations to ensure efficiency, responsiveness, and professionalism; maintain records and reporting in PM systems.
  • Support team communication, accountability, and day-to-day operational coordination.
  • Deliver high level of resident service rooted in hospitality and problem-solving.
  • Partner with maintenance and onsite teams to ensure a seamless resident experience.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join the team at a multifamily community in the Cortez Hill neighborhood of San Diego.

The Role

As Assistant Community Manager, you will partner closely with the Community Manager to support financial operations, resident relations, leasing performance, and daily community operations.

You will:
  • Support the financial performance of the community through rent collections, delinquency management, reporting, and operational organization
  • Assist with leasing, renewals, resident communication, and resident retention initiatives
  • Help oversee onsite operations to ensure efficiency, responsiveness, and professionalism Maintain accurate records, lease documentation, and reporting within property management systems
  • Support team communication, accountability, and day-to-day operational coordination
  • Deliver a high level of resident service rooted in hospitality and problem-solving
  • Partner with maintenance and onsite teams to ensure a seamless resident experience
