Managing for our affiliate, GL Capital Partners, we bring this mission to life across the Western U.S. through integrity, care, and a deep commitment to people-first leadership.

As a Community Manager, you become a steward of that mission. You will inspire your team, elevate the resident experience, and lead a community that reflects GLPM’s highest values—where excellence, care, and community come together every day.

About the Role

As the Community Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of community operations, including resident experience, team leadership, financial performance, leasing, and compliance. What You’ll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate an onsite team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and solution‑oriented culture
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant management of the community
  • Drive all leasing initiatives to maximize occupancy, optimize revenue, and reduce vacancy loss
  • Execute marketing strategies and community outreach to strengthen the property’s presence and demand
  • Develop and implement resident engagement and retention plans that create a welcoming, connected community
  • Analyze market conditions and adjust leasing and marketing strategies to stay competitive and forward‑thinking
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, rent collection, and delinquency mitigation with precision
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently across all interactions, honoring our Resident Brand Promise
  • Partner closely with maintenance to uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, team members, leadership, and ownership
  • Represent GLPM with professionalism, care, and integrity at all times
What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Manager in the multi‑family industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower, develop, and coach onsite teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgets, reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Ability to interpret and respond to market trends, competition, and leasing opportunities
  • A passion for creating positive resident experiences and fostering a sense of community
  • Experience with Entrata or similar property management software
  • A leadership style that reflects GLPM’s values: Integrity, Community, Synergy, Responsibility, and Care
