ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Community Manager will assist with daily management operations of the Summerlin North Community Association. This will include governance, property management, design review, accounting, and resident/owner compliance. Assist with formulation and development of new projects, processes, and procedures as needed. Assure the Summerlin North management team remains in step with industry best practices
What You Will Do
Community Governance & Member Relations
Lead efficient board and annual membership meetings, maintain accurate records, communicate regularly with homeowners, and handle high volumes of member inquiries while promoting compliance with community policies and design criteria.
Operations & Vendor Management
Oversee bidding, contracting, and performance of subcontractors for community services; manage design review processes and ensure periodic updates to association design criteria.
Financial Oversight & Risk Management
Develop annual budgets, generate monthly financial reports, supervise reserve studies, maintain common area documentation, and coordinate insurance coverage and claims handling.

Skills & Experience
High School Diploma/GED, associates or undergraduate degree preferred.
5+ years experience in Community Management or related field.
Required certification: Community Manager or Provisional Community Manager (Nevada Real Estate Commission); preferred: CMCA and AMS.
Strong background in customer relations, budgeting/accounting, office administration, covenant enforcement, and design review.
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written; must be professional, friendly, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Avgar, Jennark, and SmartWebs is a plus.
Familiarity with, and eagerness to explore and integrate, emerging technologies (e.g. AI and blockchain etc.) to drive innovation and continuous learning.
