Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services seeks a well-organized professional for a full-time role in our Community Habilitation Program in Brooklyn, with travel to other boroughs. You will handle administrative duties, Medicaid billing, and use EHR systems to support staff working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking a well-organized and motivated professional to fill a full-time position in our Community Habilitation Program.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails; manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
• Print, copy, and organize documents as needed
• Process Medicaid billing and track required paperwork
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Assist with hiring, supervising, and training direct care staff to support staff working independently in homes of children and/or adults with developmental disabilities

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patience and professionalism
• Management experience and BA preferred
• Experience working with individuals who have disabilities required.
