Job summary

J Street Property Services seeks an Assistant Community Director to support revenue protection and resident experience at Villa Del Mar. You will partner with the Community Director to monitor collections, drive renewals, and oversee daily operations.

The role requires 2+ years in multifamily housing, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, plus proficiency with property-management software. Weekend hours may be required and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of multifamily housing, leasing, collections, or related property-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of collections, lease renewals, resident relations, and onsite operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, payment plans, and account activity.
• Communicate with residents about balances, commitments, and next steps.
• Support Community Director to reduce delinquency and safeguard revenue.
