The NYC Department for the Aging seeks an Assistant Commissioner, Program Performance and Accountability, to strengthen effectiveness, transparency, and innovation across programs serving older New Yorkers. The Division of Program operates a range of programs and services to ensure that older adults age in the communities they call home - from Older Adult Centers, Home-delivered meals programs and elder justice programs, to case management, home care, eviction prevention, workforce development and mental health counseling. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Assistant Commissioner - Program Performance and Accountability will strengthen a culture of effectiveness, transparency and innovation with internal program leaders, and build the capacity of external frontline workers, their supervisors and human services organizations to deliver quality services for older adults.
