Leavitt Coastal Valley in Santa Maria, CA is seeking an Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our Account Managers with daily client service tasks. This role is ideal for organized professionals looking to build a career in the insurance industry.

You will assist with policy servicing, endorsements, certificates, and client communications, while leveraging AMS360. California Property & Casualty license is required, and 1+ year Commercial Lines experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• California Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• 1+ years experience in Commercial Lines; entry-level considered with strong knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist Account Managers with servicing tasks.
• Manage incoming service requests from clients and address inquiries promptly.
• Assist in creating professional insurance proposals for client presentations.
• Review endorsements to verify accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
• Prepare and issue certificates of insurance as required by clients.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and team members.
• Utilize the client management system to update policies and log meetings and activities.
• Collaborate within a team to deliver high-quality service to a diverse client base.
