Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising and counseling.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork under the direction of the head coach for women’s lacrosse program.Assist with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program, including but not limited to; coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising, film breakdown and counseling.Serve as a positive role model for all student-athletes and represent Albertus Magnus College in a professional, responsible, and positive manner.Follow all NCAA, conference, and Athletics Department guidelines.Foster a culture of compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, and to assist with the promotion of an environment of institutional control over intercollegiate athletics by Albertus Magnus College.Required QualificationsPrevious experience at the collegiate, club, and/or scholastic levels as a student-athlete and/or coach.Knowledge of collegiate rules and a demonstrated compliance with said rules.Relevant work experience may be substituted to meet qualifications for the position.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesOutstanding verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience as a student-athlete or coach of the sport(s).General understanding of the recruiting process at the college level.Work Schedule and FlexibilityRegular schedule: Evening and weekend hours are expected based on commitments.Physical and Work Environment RequirementsCompensationThe total compensation for the Part-Time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach position is $1,500 for the academic year.
