Job summary

Northwest Christian Schools in Kentucky seeks an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in developing athletes, managing practices, and upholding the school's mission and standards.

The role emphasizes Biblically based values, professional conduct, and collaboration with coaches, students, parents, and staff. A First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, and ongoing WIAA requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience and ability to teach and motivate athletes.
• Strong interpersonal communication with students, faculty, staff, and community.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supports the head coach in developing spiritual, athletic, and academic goals for the program.
• Provides locker room and bus supervision for athletes.
• Ensures safety of athletes during practices and games and handles injuries appropriately.
• Maintains positive relationships with players, parents, and staff.
• Assists with inventory and equipment management.
