Job summary

Northwest Christian Schools in Washington state is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in player development, team operations, and program excellence. This role models professional conduct and contributes to a biblically based program aligned with NWC values.

Qualifications

Coaching experience and ability to motivate athletes.
First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
Commitment to Christian faith and school values.
Strong interpersonal communication with students, staff, and community.
Ability to supervise assistant coaches and volunteers.
Organized with the capacity to monitor multiple athletes and activities.

Responsibilities

Support the head coach in developing spiritual, athletic, and academic goals.
Provide positive communication with coaches, players, and parents.
Assist head coach with tracking and storing inventory and equipment.
Provide locker room and bus supervision for athletes.
Ensure athlete safety during practices and games and handle injuries appropriately.
Collaborate with head coach on specific roles for the team.
