Job summary

DUNBAR MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR INNOVATION is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Middle School Football program to start immediately. The role focuses on supporting the head coach with practice planning, game prep, and athlete development.

Responsibilities include leading drills, coordinating conditioning, and assisting with day-to-day coaching duties as directed by the Head Football Coach. Preference given to candidates with prior football playing or coaching experience; this is a part-time, on-site

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for assisting the head coach with the football program. Coaching, instructing and performing other duties necessary to the development of the individuals and the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists the head coach with planning and running team practice sessions, game preparation, and strength/conditioning. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
