Qualifications

This position is a part‑time/temp appointment and pays a $3,000 stipend, prorated based on hire date

Typical calendar: October 15 - April 15

Required Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with sports skills and principles to teach and provide feedback for alpine ski racing
  • Valid driver's license (in good standing, based on UMS standards)
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends for practices and competitions.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and integrity; strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Previous collegiate competitive or coaching experience, particularly in Alpine skiing.
  • Experience with sports recruiting.
