Assistant Coach - JVFootball GENERAL INFORMATION Title: Assistant Coach -JV Football Department: E. C. Glass High School Salary Grade: Coach Pay Scale FLSA Status: Exempt Site/Location: E. C. Glass High School Reports to: Athletic Director Date: 07/23/2026

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for assisting the head coach of the Football program.
• Coaching, instructing, and performing other duties assigned by the coach and or Athletic Director necessary to the development of the individuals and the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists the head coach with planning and teaching student-athletes the rules, techniques, and equipment to become better football players.
• Assists and directs individual and group practice activities as assigned by the head coach.
• Monitoring student-athletes during practices and competitions.
