POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for assisting coach with student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Helps instructs players in the rules, regulations, and techniques of cross country.
• Assists with organizing and directing practice activities/exercises, assessing player’s skills, monitoring players during competition and practice.
• Helps with supervising athletes during practices and competition.
