Job summary

Nixa Public Schools is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Junior High eSports Coach to lead program development, coordinate practices, and ensure alignment with district policies. You will work with the Program Head Coach on planning, conditioning, equipment management, and season preparation.

PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Provide leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of the eSports program through coordination, planning, evaluation, and implementation of programs. Responsible for information contained in the Student Activities Procedures Guide and the implementation of the procedures within, as well as MSHSAA and district policies/procedures. Assist Program Head Coach with planning and preparation for the season, off-season conditioning, equipment management, and other tasks as directed. Be loyal to the school's entire academic program.

EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Missouri teaching certificate preferred; previous eSports coaching experience preferred. Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
