Douglas County School District is accepting applications for an Assistant Coach - Cheer at the high school level. The role centers on organizing and implementing a competitive cheer program that emphasizes academics, fundamentals, and sportsmanship.
The successful candidate will collaborate with school leaders, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students and families to ensure the program reflects the District's values and community pride.
An athletic coach with Douglas County School District will be charged with the organization and implementation of a successful program.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a competitive program that is committed to the creation of student athletes who demonstrate a commitment to academics, strong fundamental skills, and sportsmanship.
The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and members of the community to ensure that the school stands out with pride for our community.
All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
