POSITION: Assistant Coach – Boys Swimming

LOCATION: Southington High School

SALARY: $2,821.00 - $3,800.00 – stipend

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

To assist and direct the Boys' Swimming team under the direction of the Head Coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship; contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit; have a current CPR and First Aid card and, have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and, Head Injury education.Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate high school student athletes.Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
