Job summary

Roseville Area Schools seeks an Assistant Alpine Skiing Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Roseville Area High School. The role focuses on supporting the head coach, instructing participants in alpine skiing techniques, and helping realize program objectives.

The ideal candidate will have coaching experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to equitable opportunities for all students. Compensation is provided as outlined in the district teacher contract.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.

• Knowledge of coaching techniques, skill development, and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the objectives of the Activities program.
• Instruct participants in techniques, tactics, and physical training for Alpine skiing.
• Support the Head Alpine Ski Coach and implement coaching philosophies consistent with the district.

Description:

Roseville Area Schools is a seeking an Assistant Alpine Skiing Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

Major Responsibilities:

To assist in carrying out the objectives of the Activities program as outlined by the Head Alpine Ski Coach. To assist in instructing participants in individual, group, and team techniques, tactics, and physical training necessary for the realization of success; to implement teaching and coaching philosophies consistent with Roseville Area School District.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a positive, supportive manner with participants, parents, coaches, schooladministration and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to promote the self-esteem of youth.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coaching techniques in the areas of skill development, strategy, and interpersonalteam relations or knowledge of the sport and the ability to learn the techniques in a quick manner.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Meet and maintain coaching standards as determined by the District and the MSHSL.
• Commitment to an equitable experience for all, demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.

Compensation:

Competitive assistant coaching stipend as outlined in the district Teacher contract.
