Position Summary
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a leadership position with direct and indirect patient care responsibilities. Working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing (DON), and the Health Center Administrator (HCA), this role involves developing systems of care to foster a successful clinical care team environment and ensure optimal patient outcomes. The primary responsibility is assisting with directing daily clinical support staff activities to provide safe, high-quality, and efficient primary care to a diverse patient population. Secondary responsibilities include providing direct nursing care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, nursing experience in directing primary care support staff, and extensive knowledge of family medicine primary care nursing, including pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology.
