The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI seeks an Assistant Clinical Manager to lead nursing care for a designated unit under the Clinical Manager. The role emphasizes staff leadership, resource coordination, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
You will supervise nursing teams, monitor staffing and performance, participate in annual appraisals, and collaborate with educators and faculty to meet educational needs while supporting hospital goals and patient outcomes.
SUMMARY: The Assistant Clinical Manager is a first line manager who, in collaboration with the Clinical Manager, directs nursing care and coordinates resources for a specified unit and performs administrative activities while providing leadership and support to staff. Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
Supervisory responsibility for up to 40 FTEs.
Pay Range: $90,334.40-$180,689.60
