Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager (RN) to lead nursing teams and manage patient care within the hospital unit. This role emphasizes clinical leadership, governance participation, and collaboration with the Director and Nurse Manager.

You will contribute to budget planning, quality initiatives, staffing decisions, and regulatory compliance while supporting professional practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and current Michigan RN license.
• Minimum of two years RN experience.
• BCLS/ACLS per unit standard.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
• Plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

• The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
• Position: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Rotating Shifts
• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
• Benefits: Full-time benefit package

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Two years RN experience.

Certifications/Licensures

• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard.
• Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
