Job summary

Henry Ford Hospital is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager in the nursing department to lead clinical teams and ensure top-tier patient care. Under the Director/Nurse Manager, you will plan, organize, and direct the delivery of services within the unit, while supporting budgets, quality improvement, staffing, and compliance with policies.

The role requires a BSN and at least two years of RN experience, Michigan RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS per unit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Two years RN experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard.
• Certifications appropriate for specific unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotations.

• Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
• This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
• The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
• The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
