Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering.
• One year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Review site and house connection proposals submitted by professional engineers.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for sewer connections.
• Review surveys for compliance with DEP rules.
• Research sewer records to verify connection proposals.
• Utilize tools like zoning maps and ArcGIS for research.
• Determine maximum sewer pipe capacity.
• Meet with engineers to discuss project needs.
• Review and approve moderate to complex permit applications.
