Job summary

The City of Pharr is seeking a Full Time Assistant City Engineer to support the City Engineer in directing the Department's activities, overseeing Capital Improvement Projects, managing Right of Way acquisitions, and facilitating the Subdivision Process and inspections to ensure quality and compliance for Pharr's urban development.

This on-site role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and work with a dedicated team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license in Texas (PE) is required.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure and CIP projects.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, surveying, and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Capital Improvement Projects and related design and construction.
• Manage Right of Way acquisitions and subdivision process inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise engineers, technicians, and clerical staff; provide training.
