Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Grayson, GA is seeking an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will help implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development while supervising children.

Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, maintaining a clean space, observing milestones, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to Pass a Background Check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet Georgia’s Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.

• Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.

About This Role

At Chroma Early Learning Academy, an Assistant Childcare Teacher supports lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities may include assisting with lesson preparation, maintaining a clean and organized space, monitoring behavior, and communicating effectively with staff and families. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about early childhood education, with a willingness to collaborate and adapt in a dynamic childcare setting.

What You'll Do
