Chroma Early Learning Academy in Georgia is seeking an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will help implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development while supervising children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to Pass a Background Check.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Meet Georgia Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.
• Reliable, team-oriented and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in the day-to-day care of the children in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families.
• Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.
