Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a radiologist to join the Radiology Department at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC in Indianapolis, IN.

The physician will assist the Chief of Radiology in managing the radiology service and will conduct medical imaging interpretations across modalities, participate in multi-disciplinary conferences, and mentor staff. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with incentives and a comprehensive total

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or certified with American Board of Radiology.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conducts interpretations on Diagnostic Imaging (MRI, CT, US, NM, IR as applicable).
• Defines modality-specific protocols and consults with ordering providers.
• Oversees staffing, training, and supervision of radiology personnel.
• Supports administration and project initiatives within Radiology Service and VISN goals.
• Provides direct patient care as a radiology consultant in outpatient or inpatient settings.
