Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Chief Medical Officer in Winter Haven, FL. The ACMO will work with the CMO to coordinate clinical activities, develop protocols, and mentor clinical staff while supervising patient care services.

The role combines direct patient care with administrative leadership, focusing on performance improvement, provider scheduling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Strong leadership and EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires medical degree from an accredited school and board certification in specified specialties.
• DEA license required.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in primary health care preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• EHR proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist CMO in providing medical staff leadership, including oversight of clinician performance and credentialing recommendations.
• Lead development and evaluation of clinical programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate provider workflow planning and scheduling; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in staff outreach and professional meetings; support patient safety and data-driven improvements.
• Mentor clinical staff and promote best practices in patient care and confidentiality.
