CAN Community Health Inc. is seeking an Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) to lead medical services and collaborate with the CMO to uphold standards of care across departments. Based in Florida, the role focuses on HIV care, infectious diseases, and quality improvement.

The ACMO will oversee clinical programs, drive credentialing compliance, and mentor physicians while supporting the organization’s mission and grant-funded initiatives. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state(s).
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Infectious Disease, or related field.
• Current DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
• BLS Certification Required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical practice experience, with substantial HIV medicine and primary care.
• Minimum of three (3) years of physician leadership or medical management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and risk management principles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert medical and administrative leadership partnering with the CMO to lead medical services (medical, dental, behavioral health, clinical research, prevention, nursing).
• Implement standard-of-care methodologies and provider support.
• Ensure medical programs meet patient needs and grant-funded requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical staff across departments to maintain high standards of care.
• Coordinate with Quality and Credentialing to maintain credentialing compliance.
