Job summary

The Assistant Chief Financial Officer at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL leads the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliant controls while partnering with hospital leaders to optimize performance.

This leadership role drives fiscal strategy, talent development, and capital planning, supporting revenue cycle and care coordination insights to sustain growth within the HCA network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experience.
• Experience as a hospital Controller preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of application of healthcare finance to impact clinical and financial results.
• Execute HCA Healthcare’s capital asset management process.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functions.
• Establish expertise in productivity, staffing and scheduling.
• Demonstrate competence in hospital accounting, internal control environment and compliance requirements.
• Establish executive presence (temperament, competencies and skills across situations).
