Job summary

Holiday Inn Express is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our Maintenance Team. This role involves assisting the Chief Engineer with various maintenance operations, ensuring the hotel’s facilities meet high standards for guest service.

Responsibilities include performing repairs, inspecting guest rooms, maintaining chemical levels in the pool, and carrying out preventive maintenance on hotel equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in a hotel or related field.
• Preferably have one year of supervising staff experience.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of maintenance operations.
• Perform basic maintenance procedures for high-quality guest service.
• Inspect guest rooms and maintain pool chemical levels.
• Ensure preventive maintenance on various hotel equipment.
• Assist with vendor relationships and maintenance logs.
